Only in the fall are you able to get a
good look at Scotsman's house through the Silver Maples.
|
Main House
Built in 1906,
Scotsman's house has been through many changes throughout
the years. When he purchased the house and property in
1976, it was without the beautiful two-story garden room
that you see here. Just off of the garden room is the
greenhouse extension where many of the orchids are placed
in the winter.

Leaves blow about the raised porch of
the cottage
while the sun caresses a bench.

Cottage
Added around 1920,
the cottage at one time served as a storage shed, and
later a temporary chicken coop! It is now a quaint little
two-room home that overlooks the garden entrance. Though
an earlier enclosed porch has disappeared, the original
decorative front window that you see here remains.
