Clyde's Chat Room
Bulletin Board

T
his 2D map illustrates the layout of Scotsman's property, including the English-style Cottage Garden, the Main House, the Cottage, the Ponds, Orchards and Copse, and Livestock areas for turkeys, geese, ducks, and chickens.  In 1976, the only trees on the property were a few maples and the large Virginia Oak tree in the center.  Now, close to 200 trees, shrubs, and ornamental grasses populate this beautiful secluded setting.  Perennials and other plants are scattered throughout in raised beds and in containers along the wooden rail fences.  Over 400 orchids hang from trees outside or adorn the greenhouse and garden room. And patches of ivy fill the cottage back and creep up the rear of the main house.

Explore the gardens by clicking on the picture icons on the map above, OR use the links at the bottom of the page to go to specific areas with descriptive text.  At anytime you can click on the dog icon to call up Clyde's Chat Room, where you can discuss gardening with others around the world -- LIVE and Internet-wide!
